		COMPUTER DRAWINGS David Hendrickson & Associates, Inc. prepares most drawings using state of the art CAD equipment. Complex inventions with incomplete disclosure sometimes require pencil development prior to preparing the formal drawings. All drawings are made formal with CAD.


DESIGN DRAWINGS A unique combination of drafting and illustration expertise goes into the preparation of ornamental design drawings. Design drawings are prepared with CAD, using imported drawings whenever feasible.


		TRADEMARK DRAWINGS Upon receipt of a good specimen of the mark, a trademark drawing can often be created using photographic techniques in combination with ink drawing methods. Even without a good specimen, we can generate a professional trademark drawing using either the computer or pen and ink.


		FOREIGN FILING SPECIALISTS As the standards for drawings in many other countries are not as stringent as the USPTO standards, many such drawings are rejected. We correct, enhance or redo drawings from foreign countries for filing with the USPTO. We also prepare numerous drawings for US applicants filing in foreign countries.

		PHOTOGRAPHS We digitally process and enhance photos in-house, in both color and black and white, for patent applications.

Turn-around Time
You tell us when you need the job and we'll do our best to meet your requirements. In order to provide rapid service when you need it, we appreciate greater lead time on cases that aren't as urgent. Our objective is to establish long-term relationships with our clients and we have found that, over time, everything evens out.

Email Drawings
We accept email with attached drawing files for importing. We send drawings to many of our clients in PDF format. We also prepare drawings in TIFF format, at the required resolution and compression, for clients filing electronically with the USPTO.

Electronic Billing Available
We send most of our invoices as email documents. If your accounting department prefers, we can send hard copy invoices via regular mail instead.

What else?

We pride ourselves on developing superior patent drawings from incomplete and sketchy disclosures.
At our client's request we contact inventors to obtain information to create the patent drawings. This usually saves attorney time and results in more complete and accurate drawings.
When necessary we visit the inventor's site to take photos or make sketches for the preparation of patent drawings. (This service is limited to Milwaukee and surrounding areas.)
We prepare court charts for intellectual property and other litigation.
